>>>I do my "To Do" list (up to 22 pages
>>>this last week) using this option.
>Wow! And I was depressed because -my- list has reached -14- pages (5.5
>x 8.5 ", in case anyone cares <bg>).
Those aren't ToDo lists. They're attics.
A useful ToDo list is an elastic buffer. It expands a little from time to
time, but only temporarily. Over the long term its average size is a small
constant, and it is frequently empty.
Take your list and assign priorities A, B, and C to the items on it. A-items
are ones you must complete today. B-items are ones you must complete by a
specific date within the next two weeks. C-items are all others.
Throw away the C-items. Either they're restatements of your goals and
objectives or they're things that "would be nice." Throw them away.
Yes, I understand your objections. Throw them away. If you really need to
keep one of them, give it a realistic due date within the next two weeks and
change it to a B-item.
I wonder what your desks look like. ...RM
