If you need to distribute from the web, use Acrobat.
If you took a decision to give your user an exact page-
for-page representation of your document, use Acrobat.
If you are unwilling to compromise your hardcopy design
decisions to the softcopy environment, use Acrobat--
not to imply that I agree with your decision.
If you are building an online information database, find
a more suitable tool.
Keep an open mind. Acrobat may satisfy certain needs for
the writer, such as preserving the aesthetics of the document,
while failing to meet the needs of the user. Acrobat has
a place, but you may need Acrobat AND other tools.
