I recommend JoAnn Hackos' Managing the Documentation Process (?), from John
Wiley Press. Very good, easy to read, and the process she describes is very
similar to the software development process so, if you are in s/w its easy to
sell to management cause its similar to what they are use to (assuming they are
familiar with a development process!)
