If you like Ventura, stick with it. Corel's VP5.0 stabilized around June of 95
(a year after its release!) and I have been using it full time since August. I
am in full production with it right now, about 1000 pages a month.

It is behaving well. I like it better than any of its predecessors. One word
of warning though, don't buy a used copy. The way they work their warranty is
to send out 4 or 5 completely new builds of the software on CD during the year
following its release. This means lots of bum copies floating around on CD's.
The current rev is "G".

The Corel 5 package which includes Ventura 5.0 includes 850 type 1 fonts,
mostly from Letraset and Bitstream, and a decent clip-art library. It also has
good font management software.

Buy lots of ram, a 486-100 or better, and enjoy!

John Parker
