Ginger writes about certification that she obtained going to school. The
issue of certification being discussed here is a little different. We are
talking about certification in the sense of establishing a generally
recognized standard for judging the competence of a technical writer. That's
different from getting a certificate from a school, which simply means that
you took and passed all requirements for the certificate at that school.
Sounds like a pretty good program you had there, though.
