While you're 7th grade English teach might have fits over it, I am perfectly
sure your audience will have no problem with it (unless its audience is 7th
grade English teachers!). If your audience can understand it without a
problem, then there's nothing wrong with it. If that's the way they might
commonly do something, then it's 'correct' grammar, too.

I would argue it makes no effect on readability, therefore, it's perfectly cool.
