We use ANSI standards for Danger, Warning and Caution alerts. ANSI
uses Danger for imminently hazardous situations which could result in
death or serious injury, Warning for potentially hazardous situations
which could result in death or serious injury, Caution for potentially
hazardous situations which could result in minor or moderate injury.
Attention is used to alert personnel of instructions necessary to prevent
property damage.

It seems pretty clear, but we are always arguing the finer points of
which area a particular situation falls into. (Again with Guy's "damn
lawyers")

Our corporate lawyers have advised that each warning etc have 3 parts-
the potential problem, how to avoid or rectify it and the result to
personnel and property if the alert is not heeded.
