As the person who resurfaced the e-mail/email thread
most recently, I'd like to say that I was really looking for
sources, not everybody's opinion. Has this issue made it
into any style guides or computer dictionaries yet?
I usually like Merriam/Webster's 10th Collegiate, but I
find their E-mail too stuffy, and I'd like other references'
opinions.
