has a permanent position available for a Technical Communicator.
Candidates must have:
* Excellent English composition skills
* Strong research skills (through both written materials and interviews)
* Excellence with FrameMaker DeskTop publishing software (or equivalent)
ability to create and comply with defined paragraph styles
ability to auto number, make cross references, use variables and
generate book and toc files
ability to import and modify files and graphics and
ability to format pages and apply existing formats to imported
material
ability to use Frame drawing tools to create illustrations
* Awareness of ISO 9000 standards
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings,
schematics
* Ability to use a Windows-based, networked PC and hardware peripherals
such as modem, tape back-up, CD ROM drive, video capture,
scanner, printer, etc.
Preferred consideration will be given to candidates who have:
* Knowledge of semiconductor process equipment
* Extensive experience with computer graphics
ability to create line art from Engineering drawings, rough
sketches, photo's and/or visual inspection
ability to convert above line art to various other formats
ability to create isometric, 3d or exploded view drawings from
above materials
ability to render animations a plus
* Experience with electronic imaging, such as video stills, photo CD
* Experience with Visual Basic or high-end hypermedia authoring tool
