Heck--I generally understand women *better* than I do a lot of men. At least
the females I know are not alway spouting sports statistics at me.

I strongly suspect (but, again, cannot substantiate) that any communications
bias that exists is extant due to societal or cultural biases and not because
of any inherent biological differences--it's gender, not sex. I liken it to
touch-typing. Given that more females than males touch-type, is this because
they are better adapted to living in typing pools?
