CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT
The 5th Annual STC Region 6 Technical Communication Conference
will be held October 19-21 at the Downtown Holiday Inn and at
Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
This year the conference will include (in addition to the usual)

CONFERENCE SITES AND ACCOMODATIONS
The Downtown Holiday Inn and the Academic Computing Center (Wissink
Building) on the Mankato State University campus are the host sites
for the conference. Conference participants will be bussed from the
Holiday to campus and then bussed back to Holiday Inn.
For reservations at the Holiday Inn, please call 507-345-1234;
identify yourself as a STC conference participant. The Holiday Inn
is located at 101 Main Street in Mankato. If arriving
from the north on Hwy. 169, take the Mankato-North Mankato exit;
turn left at the stop light to cross the bridge over the
Minnesota River; take the first right to the Holiday Inn.
from the south on Hwy. 169 and Hwy. 60, take the Riverfront Drive
exit; turn right onto Riverfront and continue on it to the
Holiday Inn (at the corner of Riverfront and Main Street).
from the east on Hwy. 14, which turns in Madison Avenue, continue
on Madison Avenue to the bottom of the hill; turn left on
Riverfront Drive and follow Riverfront to the Holiday Inn
(at the corner of Riverfront and Main Street).
from the west on Hwy. 14, take the Hwy. 169 South exit; then
take the Mankato-North Mankato exit; turn left at the
traffic light to cross the bridge over the Minnesota River;
take the first right to the Holiday Inn.
Mankato Land To Air (507-625-3977) provides transportation to and
from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
