Techwhirlers:
My favorite student exercise is to write a set of instructions on how to
tie a pair of shoes. The follower of the instructions is assumed to have had
no previous experience with lace-up shoes. The instructions must include all
finger movements. When the instructions are finished, a fellow-classmate
reads the instructions to another student who is seated facing the class.
This student must exactly follow those instructions to tie his/her shoe.
This exercise may be done as a single or group project.
Good luck,
J.P.
