I'm running '95. Works a hel of a lot better then 3.1 or 3.11 or 3.11WFW do.
It IS still Windows but I run Corel, Pagemaker 5.0 Word 6.0 Photostyler and
they all perform much better and smother under '95.

As long as you have a lot of resourses and money, NT is OK. It needs a lot
of resourses on its own, without wanting to run client apps. It is a good
lan server app, but it is a little overkill for a standalone machine. '95
is basically 3.1 or 3.11 "pumped up" a little. It will still only run
existing 16bit WIn apps the same way 3.1(1) do now. I won't bother with
technical stuff, as it's not the point here... As I said, tho', the
existing 16bit app's, so run better and smoother.. I have also found that I
can run Corel, PM and Word concurrently, with one open and the other two
minimized and not get a GPF or UAE..:) Big bonus as far as I'm concerned..:
) Anywaze Suzanne, I hope this helps your decision making a least a little.
