> What's the plural of "Charles" as in the sentence, "I went to a party last
> night and there were seven Charless (or Charleses or Charles's) there"?
I would circumvent that entirely by saying "I went to a party last night and
there were seven guys/people named Charles there." Trying to pluralize Charles
(or most other names) is just way too awkward. But if you really want to
do so, "Charlses" is what I would use.
