Novell, Inc. is seeking Senior Technical Writers to write
internal engineering specifications and systems architecture
documentation.
Must have excellent writing and language skills and the
ability to clearly document complex issues. A strong
technical background, including a working knowledge of C
programming language and the ability to read and
understand source code.
Candidate needs to be able to learn quickly.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a
team environment are also required.
A strong networking background, particularly in NetWare,
and a clear understanding of networking concepts are
desired. Familiarity with WordPerfect, FrameMaker, and
Envoy is helpful.
Responsibilities include writing internal engineering
documentation, including design and architecture
specifications, for Novell products.
Will work closely with engineering teams to gain detailed
knowledge of software, and be able to present complicated
technical information in a clear, understandable way.
This position is either a grade 21 and 22. Salary ranges are
42-55K for Grade 21 and between 50-65K for Grade 22.
