El Segundo, CA ** EAT CROW, Episode 2 **
The crow was a goodly distance away, a
challenge to his marksmanship. Just for
sport (NOT for food), he took long. careful
aim and fired. Said crow obediently flopped
to the ground, dead.
As the smoke cleared, the soldier was
shocked to hear:
"HANDS UP, Yankee Doodle!"
Not necessarily verbatim, mind you;
I wasn't on the scene myself.
