Someone here coined the term about a year ago when folks were
struggling with the problems of "How do you pronounce techwr-l?"
and "What do you call folks who participate on techwr-l?"

Some folks like the term techwhirler; some don't. Eric chose
to remain neutral. Personally, I use "techwr-ler," but it
is harder to pronounce.
