A finger pad is a small, flat, rectangular device with a tail like a
mouse. The pad itself is about 2" x 1.5", and responds to the movement of
your finger across the surface, which is made of a rubberized plastic.
Tapping on the surface of this pad is read as a mouse "click," and double
taps are read as double "clicks."

This device allows you to zoom around on the screen quickly, without
moving your wrist or arm. The only joints you really need to use are your
knuckles (and who's ever gone on disability because of problems with
their knuckles?!?). I've found that it really helps me when I'm doing a
lot of mousework (that is, about 50% of the time) as my arm and wrist
don't get tired.
