Please Take Note:
This is an off-site assignment. Writer can work from their home
using their own equipment. Some travel to client site
(Central New Jersey) is expected. Travel allowance is built
into the hourly rate.
Job Description:
The candidate shall write the installation and system
administration documents for workstation products. The products
are Galaxy-based GUI systems. The Candidate will develop drafts
of the two documents, review drafts with client product managers,
and produce final copies for formal document distribution to users.
Required Qualifications:
1. Must have strong, proven technical writing and editing skills.
2. UNIX and workstation experience.
3. Knowledge of FrameMaker/Interleaf.
4. Working knowledge of GUI-based software is VERY DESIRABLE.
5. Previous experience with system administration documentation
is desirable.
