LaVonna Funkhouser asked the list if anyone could recommend a good,
monospaced sans serif font for online work. I can understand the sans
serif recommendation (i.e, more legible on low-resolution displays),
but why use a nonproportional font? My experience is that a
well-designed, properly kerned proportional font is much more readable
than using monospacing. (Your mileage may vary!) Can anyone (including
LaVonna) enlighten me? --Geoff Hart #8^{)} <---got these specs from
