Hi: I'm a sociologist at Cleveland State University with a grant to do
research on voluntary part-time and flexible employment among technical
workers. My collaboratator (in Chicago) Peter Whalley and I are planning
to interview more than 100 people in various technical occupations, including
technical writing. If you are a part-time technical writer in Cleveland
or Chicago (or if you consider that you have something resembling flexible
employment) and if you are in this situation by choice, we'd appreciate
hearing from you. You can contact me in Cleveland at 216-687-4518
(e-mail: R0553 -at- VMCMS -dot- CSUOHIO -dot- EDU). YOu can contact Peter Whalley in
Chicago at 312-508-3453 (email: pwhalle -at- luc -dot- edu).
