Position: Contractor
Title: Technical Writer/Translator (English to Spanish)
Location: Central New Jersey
Assgnment: 11 months
Rate: $25 to $35/hr.
Job Descriptuon:
Translate approx 45 existing documents from English to Spanish and provide
formatted copy; these documents are currently in English and formatted
using UNIX troff. The candidate will work closely with subject matter
experts, a documentation coordinator and a project manager to prioritize and
execute the translations. Will user a MAC or PC to access a UNIX system.
Required Job Skills:
Must have the following demonstratable expereince and skills:
1. Be fluent in and have knowledge of written (grammar and dialects) Spanish.
2. Proficiency in UNIX troff formatting and text editors;
FrameMaker experience would be extremely HELPFUL.
3. Excellent editing, proofreading and writing skills.
4. Knowledge of telecommunications and network operatiuons and terminology.
