Don't let one person's tirade get to you. I saw nothing
wrong with your question about "task" as a verb. I think he may
have thought you were nit-picking someone's e-mail message,
rather than asking a general interest question.
I have found out myself, the hard way, that it is very easy to
be misinterpreted on the net. That's what makes emoticons so
important. :-)
