Subject:Building Travel $ Into Rate?? From:Thomas Bergen <thomas -at- OBC -dot- IS -dot- NET> Date:Sat, 11 Feb 1995 12:19:28 -0500
I may be asked for a rate for a job that would involve a little bit of
travel cross-country. I would guess an initial "get started" trip, then
possibly one more during the course of the project. I would be doing the
project at home, using phone/fax/modem/FedX as primary means of
communication.
I have telecommuted across town, but never cross-country. Any
knowledgeable contractors/freelancers who might have any advice for how to
deal with the travel costs?
Thanks,
