There is now an online viewer/compiler for Unix using the OS/2 INF/HLP
format. You can compile on OS/2 and view on Unix, Windows, and OS/2 without
recompiling. You can also compile on Unix or Windows, but I don't think the
files are then necessarily viewable on other platforms.

The following platforms are supported:
- OS/2 (of course)
- AIX
- HP-UX
- Sun/Solaris
- Windows NT
- Windows 3.1

The compilers support DBCS and multimedia. The OS/2 IPF compiler is available
with the OS/2 Toolkit. The viewer for Windows 3.1 is available with
Hyperwise, a WYSIWYG authoring environment for IPF, available from IBM.
The viewers and compiler(s) for the various UNIX platforms are available
from Singapore Labs, at mkt -at- singalab -dot- com -dot- sg

Apologies if the ad offends anyone. I've seen interest in the past on this
list in cross-platform help solutions, but didn't have names recorded.

Most of the information here is taken from an announcement on comp.unix.aix
that a friend forwarded to me. I have some more specific info from that
ad, which I can send to interested parties, or you can send email to the
address listed above.
