True statement. It's easy to lose sight of a few facts, but most of us on
this list:
1) Work in high-tech fields
2) Are interested in high-tech subjects
3) Are surrounded at work by others like us
Let's face it: if you can read this message, you're hooked into the so-called
"information superhighway," and that puts you leaps and bounds in front of
the average person in the world. In many ways, the participants on this list
do -not- represent a fair cross section of society, or even of tech writers.
(There are a lot more hardware tech writers out there than would be suggested
by participation on this list.)
