Same here. Although I chose to skip over the step, we have a similar term
for a similar looking item. (Different function, but only because we just
make the implanter, and not the chips.) It doesn't change my answer.
BTW, what does the -manufacturer- call them? I just prowled around our
factory and examined a few, but couldn't find any sign of a manufacturer's
name or ID. Somebody makes the things, and surely they -must- a name for
them. Why not use that as the standard?
