<A lot of sniveling about indexes and searching deleted.>
Before anyone whines about not being able to search through a help file,
check out the FAQ for WINHELP-L. You don't need to enter key words for
every topic. There IS a nice user interface for searching. Full-text
search is NOT a new invention. It solves everyone's problems -- writers
and users. Writers don't have to index the file, user's can search for
anything -- across multiple files -- without re-entering search parameters --
and with a really decent search engine. And remember, all the good indexes
in the world won't help anyone who doesn't know what he's looking for.
(Now that I've used a sexist pronoun and ended a sentence with a preposition,
I'll get back to work.)
