Amen to your thoughts about WP - I can't help you with Word, but I did
try to convince the higher ups that the investment in transferring our
docs to Word would be well spent in a relatively short time, but to no avail.
I cannot understand how these things escape testing - I did phone WP to
find out just what they do for testing and they said they **reallY** had
beta sites. The issues I found with 6.0a were tremendous for us - the
biggest being it can't take styles from 5.2. I did send a list to
someone earlier in the summer with my analysis, if anyone is interested,
please let me know ....
(can you tell I just spend another *******extremely******* frustrating
day working on an inadequate wordprocessor??)
thanx for letting me vent!!
