This November, the Society for Technical Communication will have its
annual Region 8 Conference at the Catamaran Resort Hotel in Pacific
Beech. Professional writers from across the Arizon and California
regions will be there to workshop and to lecture on the techniques, and
technologies that enable specialists and non-specialists from all
fields to communicate effectively.

Whether you are a student of engineering, computer science, bio-med, arts
and graphics, or the humanities, technology and those who write about it
will affect yourself and your profession. Why not attend the Region 8
Conference as a student or a student volunteer and meet with the people
that make technology happen for its users.
