The Boise State University
English Department
announces two openings:

Technical Communication, Rank Open, start Fall
1995. *Two* tenure-track positions to teach
undergraduate and graduate courses. Rank and
salary commensurate with experience and background
for a specialist in several of the following
areas: document design and production, writing for
the computer industry, human-computer interaction,
visual rhetoric, research methodology, and
publication management. Other course assignments
are possible. College teaching experience,
research in technical communication, and a Ph.D.
in a relevant field preferred. However, those with
an M.A. or M.S. in Technical Communication and
considerable industrial experience and scholarship
will be considered. The course load is 9
hours/semester; scholarly publication, teaching
excellence, and service expected for academic
advancement. The Department of English offers a
B.A. and M.A. in Technical Communication and two
levels of certificates.
