Subject:Re: Why would an editor use internet? From:Marc Santacroce <santa -at- MAILHUB -dot- TFS -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 4 Oct 1994 13:44:46 -0700
I don't see how I ever did without it.Of course I use it for research,
diversion, and to add to my interesting discussions at my morning coffee
club, but I primarily use it as an electronic mentor.
It helps me measure my skills, level of awareness and sophistication
(or lack thereof) against my peers.
I also use it to pay the profession back by helping ut new tech writers.
(Mostly I use my own aol account for this, under a different alias).
I keeps me from being isolated, or getting lost in a big company
