Certainly, if your "regular" work clothes are neat, clean, conservative,
and inoffensive! (Note that "suit" is not one of my criteria). Then
again, if you drive to work, you could leave a suit in the car and stop
at a gas station or mall to change clothes on the way to the interview.
Or simply change a t-shirt to a button-down.
