Shelly La Rock asks:

|} you other chromatically-challenged people out there? How does
|} orange look for you?
|}

That is the problem. As y'all know, there are rods and cones in your
eyes. The rods react to hues and the cones detect color. There are
three cone types that are supposed to react to the cyan/magenta/yellow
light frequencies. In ``color blind'' folks, like me, the cones are
slightly to profoundly defective. In profound cases, the person is
truly color _blind_ and lives in a grayscale world. I live in a very
colorful world where some of the colors are a little off sometimes.

Standing next to my pomegranite tree (bush really) I marvel at the
red flowers, yellow pistils, lush green foliage. By the time I get
back to the house and turn around for a last look all of the flowers
have diappeared into the green...

There is no _one_ color that all of us can see. I'm rather fond of the
uni-balls mentioned yesterday, but my brother probably can't tell the
difference between the red, green, and pink in this set.
