I'm new to this newsgroup so please excuse my intrusion if I'm
posting to the wrong group.
I'm spending the summer doing an independent study. Specifically,
I'm looking at developing a new course for our Computer Science dept.
Currently, the only type of composition course that is required is an
Intermediate Composition course. As an English minor I'm familiar with
our composition and technical writing courses, and I feel the need for
a course which is tailored to the specific needs of computer science
majors.
I'm interested in learning of any comparable courses at other
schools. Also, if there are any of you out there with some experience
in documenting source code, I would be especially interested in hearing
about your experience. Also, anyone who would like to share some of
the deficiencies in source code documentation, or other hardware/software
documentation they have encountered, I would be most greatful to you.
Or just any other suggestions--please send on.
