Friends, again your insight, opinions, and suggestions, please. I have been
tasked to establish documentation standards for my entire division. My target
audience is composed of everyone from network administrators, to
programmers, to education specialists (who write our tech manuals) and the
security department.

I am tempted to include items such as the following: agreement /
capitalization / punctuation / enumeration (using the term bullets) / voice
/usage. It is my feeling that most people who do not write for a living are
unaware of the general rules, or have forgotten them since leaving school.

How do y'all feel about these and other such apparently elementary
requirements?
Thanks in advance for your comments.
