When the issue of citing electronic sources came up here, I
cobbleded together something I thought was acceptable. Since
then I've ordered and received a book:

Electronic Style: A Guide to Citing Electronic Sources
by Xia Li and Nancy B. Crane
Meckler Publishing Westport, CT
Copyright 1993

It's the only reference I've seen on this topic. Of course,
since I got the book the issue hasn't come up again. The
book is a thin paperback with chapters on electronic mail,
databases, BBSs, etc. It looks useful.
