Regards from a first-time poster. A business writing instructor here at UC
has been introducing his students to various email and internet resources to
help them do research for their papers. Now the papers are in and there is
considerable confusion about citation style. I apologize if this is an old
and tired issue, but it's new to us.

Can you recommend a good reference? Have you developed a handy style that
fills the bill? One with panache? Do the conventions include documenting
the frequently convoluted path taken to retrieve info?
