1:00 Workshop: Usability -- How to Achieve It
o Analyze what works and what doesn't in hands-on group
activities
o Study and revise examples from practical case studies and
discuss results
o Learn techniques and tricks to make your work more usable

Roger Grice is an Associate Fellow of the Society for Technical
Communications and a faculty member at Rensselaer Polytecnic Institute as
well as the State University fo New York at Neew Paltz. He is a frequent
speaker at STC conferences and an Associate Editor for Usability for STC's
journal, Technical Communication. Roger is an internationally know expert
on usability and has developed ways to measure, test and imporove the
quality and usability of technical information.
