I and a student of mine are researching information to help us in writing
an article about how technical communicators and programmers can work
together on interface design. (I teach Technical Writing at Illinois State
Universtiy. The student, Jennifer O'Brien, is an English major and
Computer Science minor and works part-time as a system designer.)
Do you know of any good sources on how programmers and technical
communicators could work together and get involved early on in program
design? Our most helpful source thus far is STC's journal--we have been
searching all of the Tech. Comm. journals.
If you have any sources which you think might prove helpful, we would
appreciate it if you would send them to me at:
