Regarding the thread on "access," and the mention of the
Calvin quote... Here's the whole dialog.

Although he may not have originated it, Watterson published
the following dialog between Calvin and Hobbes on 1/25/93:

C: I like to verb words.
H: What?
C: I take nouns and adjectives and use them as verbs.
Remember when "access" was a thing? Now it's something
you DO. It got verbed.
C: Verbing weirds language.
H: Maybe we can eventually make language a complete
impediment to understanding.
