Sorry folks but let's discuss the English tendency to shorten nouns.
No one in their right minds are going to brag about having a "two 'jig'"
harddrive hooked up to a PC. The person will obviously use the term
"gig". Besides it would make for some pretty poor workspace management if
everytime you saved a file someone began dancing the so-called "jig" on your
