For better or worse, the Internet tends to be different from
other written media: less formal, given to a shoot-from-the-hip
dynamic. Thus it's full of dry brush whenever a flame war begins
about the importance of spelling. Let him who has never made a
spelling or grammar mistake throw the first lit cigarette out
the car window.
