Internet guide available at DEC

I got enough responses from people who wanted this that I posted it. If you
didn't, sorry about the bandwidth.

There are two free guides available, courtesy of DEC. They are "Zen and the Art
of the Internet" which is at:

gatekeeper.dec.com in /pub/net/info/zenIP.ps

and one I haven't read yet, entitled "Big Dummy's Guide to the Internet" (I
think), which is at:

gatekeeper.dec.com /pub/net/info/big-dummys-guide/big-dummys-guide-texi

If you don't have ftp (which I don't), send a message with the body "HELP" to

gatekeeper.dec.com

and that should tell you how to get anything.

And in response to someone's (forgot who, sorry) saying that the Zen guide is
out of date, it's 18 months old. This may put it at the end of the late
Cretaceous for some folks, but there's a lot of info for beginners which I have
been told (by a sys admin) is still good.

Happy browsing,
