TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I don't know if this is an appropriate place to ask this, but I'm
planning to attend the IPCC in Philadelphia (well, I'm a co-presenter)
beginning October 5. I don't know Philadelphia, and would like to
find a hotel (or other sort of accommodation) that is more affordable
than a single room at the Biltmore. My university is providing some
assistance, but the support for graduate students is still inadequate.
Anyone out there looking for a room-mate, or have other
recommendations?
Thanks in advance (and my apologies to those of you who consider this
a waste of bandwidth).
