Subject:High-speed, low-cost testing of documentation From:Jane Torpie <Jane_Torpie_at_III-HQ -at- RELAY -dot- PROTEON -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 7 Jul 1993 14:14:00 EST
Do any of you do documentation usability testing? Our group is trying to
convince management that this is a good idea.
First, we have to educate management as to what this is. Have any of you
been particularly successful, especially with managers whose area of
specialty is not doc? What worked well?
Next, we have to convince them that this can actually help the company.
Any suggestions here?
Finally, we have to come up with high-speed, low-cost ways of testing. I
really need your input here.
If you can forward me your ideas before Monday night, that would be great.
(Big meeting on Tuesday...)
Thanks!
