The Society for Technical Communication (STC) is a nonprofit, educational
professional organization devoted to the theory and practice of technical
communication. STC is more than 16,000 members and 130 chapters worldwide.
Who belongs to STC?
STC members represent all aspects of technical communication, including:
writers and editors of technical, scientific, and medical material; graphic
artists and illustrators; translators; managers and supervisors; educators
and students; independent consultants and contractors; and audiovisual
specialists.
