I stopped my membership around 5 to 6 years ago - I could not justify the
value. My company paid my dues, but when a new company bought us, I came to
the conclusion that I was not interested in trying to get the dues paid -
it no longer seemed worth it.
I don't think ChatGPT is ready to "write the docs" either, although I've
been given a goal of investigating it for potential use in our
documentation.
