That's bizarre. What use would it be to copy another company's manual^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
if you didn't copy their product as well?
If they copied another company's product without acquiring or
licensing it, that could cause worse trouble than copyright violation.
