If you want raw functionality with different communication features built
in, check out Asana. There is also a plug-in called Astogi that
automatically assigns numbers to issues. (And if you use GitHub the plug-in
records comments when youâre check in changes, but you might not need that
feature. ð)
Neither Trello nor Asana are open source but they start with a free plan.
Trello is pretty but Asana seems more lightweight and functional.
